Here you will find information about useful software and hardware. We write about things here that help provide ways for people to be involved in producing, finding and viewing multimedia.

Some of the information is about generating content - taking pictures, recording video and sound. We also look for ways to control, manipulate and show media once it has been generated.

This may be by highlighting software tools that are easier for people to use and control, or ways to provide physical access to devices like low cost cameras.

For hardware we aim to find ways to use mass produced items wherever possible (like game controllers from video games), as people may already have them, or can buy them at fairly low cost.
